Rates shown are daily rates, ex GST, and vary with hire duration and number of units — you’ll see an exact quote as you complete your booking.
How Short Term EFTPOS Hire Works
- Tell us your dates and terminal type. Complete our short booking form with your event details and preferred terminal.
- We confirm your merchant details. If you already have a Paymark merchant number, we’ll link straight to it. If not, we can advise on getting one set up.
- Your terminal is couriered to you. Fully configured and ready to use, with paper rolls included. Rural addresses may need a few extra days for delivery.
- Use it for your event, then send it back. A return courier ticket is available so sending the terminal back is hassle-free.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need my own Paymark merchant number to hire a terminal?
Most short-term hires use your existing Paymark merchant number and Terminal ID. If you’re not sure whether you have one, our booking form will guide you through it.
How far in advance do I need to book?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for rural delivery addresses, which need extra courier transit time. Contact us if your event is short notice and we’ll do what we can.
What network does the terminal need?
Mobile EFTPOS runs on the Spark 4G network and needs no on-site power or internet. WIFI terminals need a simple network with no login page. Broadband terminals need a live ethernet port and power within 1m of the setup position.
What’s included with the hire?
Your terminal arrives fully configured and ready to use. A return courier ticket is available if you’d like one, so you can send it back without arranging your own courier.
Can I hire more than one terminal?
Yes — the booking form lets you request multiple units, and pricing is calculated per unit for your hire period.
Where are you based?
We’re based in Totara Vale, Auckland, and deliver NZ-wide by courier. Local pickup is available by appointment.
